EBSCO - Use the "Choose Databases" option above the search bar to limit your search. Recommended selections include Newspaper Source and Primary Search.
Gale - Search for your topic and use the filters/limiters on the right side of the page to narrow the "Content Type" to News or Magazines. Limit the search even further by choosing a publication date range.
ProQuest - Complete an advanced search. Under "Source Type," select magazines, newspapers, and wire feeds to receive results from news sources. This is an excellent source for current events.
Connect with journalists to learn how to sort fact from fiction at The News Literacy Project. Although not a database, this is a way for journalists to help students and teachers understand how the news works.
